Reduce, Reuse and Recycle

As a steward of our planet, I'm always thinking of ways to reduce, reuse and recycle.  For a long time I struggled with the idea of a plastic bathtub liner.  I really wanted it to be made of something more organic.  Unfortunately, there is nothing that I know of that is organic and 100% waterproof that is lightweight can be machine washed.  At least the construction makes the product easy to repair if it springs a leak so it can last quite a long time if cared for correctly.  Send it in to us at the end of it's useful life and we will take care of the recycling.

Another "reduce" challenge is the fact that water is a scarce resource in some parts of the country.  We have proven that a long bath saves water over a long shower, but lets go one step further here.  I found a product that will actually help you to siphon the water out of your bathtub so you can re-use it to water plants or your lawn or whatever.   It is called siphonaid.  If you are lucky enough to be in a position where you can recycle your bath water, why not?
